Discovery of the Hidden Laboratory

• Inside Magrete Steel's abandoned home, Mia, Siz, and Det continue their search for clues.
• Mia notices that the house’s layout doesn’t match, suggesting a hidden space near the fridge.
• Siz, inspecting the area, discovers a card slot mechanism built into the wall.
• After some discussion, Mia inserts the mysterious card she was given, triggering a mechanical click and revealing a concealed door.
• The discovery leads to questions: Was this all planned?

The Secret Workspace

• Behind the door is a hidden laboratory, containing:

 - Multiple workstations with scientific equipment.
 - A computer, still powered on, requiring a password.
 - Minimal paper documentation, aside from a notebook with sketches and notes.
 - A suspiciously loose floorboard in the corner.

• While Mia works to pry open the floorboard, Siz and Det begin searching for clues in the notebook and computer.

Hidden Documents and System Access

• Mia uncovers three folders of documents beneath the loose floorboard, which appear to contain complex technical schematics and research notes.
• Det, noticing something in the papers, finds what seems to be the computer’s login credentials.
• Using the discovered login, Det gains access to the system and finds several oddly named folders:

 - Do Not Touch
 - Important Later
 - Security System
 - Make the Computer Chime at People Program

• The last folder is particularly odd, as the computer seems to chime differently based on their actions, as if responding to them.

The Security Footage

• A prompt appears notifying them of unreviewed recordings.
• Playing the footage, they see:

 - A group of six masked intruders approaching the house.
 - Lights turning on upstairs as Magrete Steel is identified by the system.
 - The intruders capturing Magrete and carrying her out of the house.
 - The footage ends with no further activity, leaving her fate unknown.
 

A Foul Stench and a Hasty Exit

• Meanwhile, a terrible odor begins seeping into the hidden room, overwhelming Siz.
• Suspecting something rotting—possibly in the fridge—she urges the team to leave immediately.
• Mia agrees, stuffing the three document folders into her bag while Det removes the computer’s storage device.
• The computer chimes again—sounding almost displeased—as Det yanks out its power and rushes out of the house.

Escaping the House

• Mia retrieves the access card and secures the door, preventing anyone from easily following their tracks.
• As they leave, she calls an automated taxi to take them back to town.
• The team decides to send the footage to Charles as soon as possible, hoping he can identify the kidnappers.
• With Magrete’s disappearance now confirmed as an abduction, their investigation takes a new turn—who took her, and why?
