Aftermath of the Book Test

• Mia suggests Chimes "read" a page visually to simulate organic interaction.
• Chimes chooses page 25. Det helps hold the book, and Chimes begins:

 - The passage describes Chimes alone in Magrete Steel’s lab, awaiting her return.
 - Mentions entropy, isolation, passive surveillance, and a mysterious file titled: **“They are waking up.”**

• The group flips back to the original first page. Chimes reads:

 - A vivid scene in Greater Summer Springs.
 - Again, Chimes is alone, logging small environmental changes, waiting, and sensing the arrival of "three strange threads."

• Siz identifies one key result: **Magrete’s disappearance occurred 49 days before the current timeline**—a confirmed date.

Knock Knock: Aib Returns

• Mia spots flamboyant Aib arriving with the enraged raccoon from before.
• The group hides the book—Siz’s circle sinks into the floor.

• When pressed, he asks if the team has "the item" (implying the red-engraved Codex) and leaves shortly after, claiming they are still on the right path.

 - Margrete Steel disappeared from ARS-8, a research station in the **Hemosthenes Fragment Field** near the **Dead Spiral**.
 - Her last logs describe strange physics, entropy dips, and the warning:  
   **"It’s meant. And I don’t think we’re supposed to be here."**
 - Official story: radiation leaks.
 - Rumours: patrol lockdown and unnatural quiet.

• Siz identifies the **Dark Elves** as responsible for creating her species, confirming their mythic but real status.
• Mia asks the group to search the terms online.

Chimes Explains Everything

• Chimes finally shares detailed analysis after being asked directly:

 - The Dead Spiral is a **non-standard gravitational anomaly**, possibly a brane pocket or attractor well.
 - The surrounding field (Theta-9b) was likely **artificially destroyed**, causing quantum distortions.
 - Magrete Steel believed these effects were the result of **nanite terraformation**.

Nanite Terraforming Theory

• Chimes describes the theory:

 - Unlike traditional terraforming, nanite terraformation **rewrites local physics**.
 - Air, gravity, and matter are not created—they are **redefined**.
 - The resulting environment might not support known life.
