Den’s Den Bar Storm Incident (2024-07-19)

The session takes place in Den's Den Bar, a cozy but rugged establishment known for good drinks and great food.
A massive storm has hit the area, bringing tornadic winds and dangerous flying debris.
The temperature outside is an unbearable 43°C (110°F), making the bar a temporary refuge.
Den, the owner, is visibly nervous as two of his usual workers are missing and unresponsive.

A motorcycle slams into the bar’s shutters, shocking the patrons.
Den checks the security footage, confirming the bike was airborne before crashing.
Mia, a tiefling, is present and unaffected by the heat but keeps an eye on the situation.
She inquires about the motorcycle, mildly concerned if someone was riding it.

Den continues serving drinks but is clearly distracted by his missing workers.
He offers free sodas and water as a small comfort to those stuck inside.
Mia notices his nervousness and asks about it.

Peter, one of the missing workers, suddenly stumbles in, soaked in sweat with cuts on his face.
He yells a long "fuuuuuuck" as he enters, collapsing under an AC vent to cool down.
Den rushes to grab a medical kit, showing clear concern.

A mysterious elf sits strategically in the bar, positioned with mirrors allowing him to see nearly every corner of the establishment.
He’s dressed in leather, relaxed, and gives Mia a cheeky finger-gun gesture when he catches her watching him.
He has a metal walking stick and likely a hidden weapon under his jacket.
Mia grows suspicious—she wonders if he could be a bounty hunter, though she has no known bounty on her.
She scans the rest of the bar, looking for other potential threats or hidden figures.

Bored and slightly anxious, Mia imagines a dramatic bar shootout, casting the elf and another patron (a working-class man she nicknames "Hank") as rivals.
In her daydream, they exchange gunfire in classic Western standoff fashion, shooting through tables and walls.
Her imagination gets so intense that she even mentally "kills" Den, realizing afterward that she actually likes him and feels guilty for her thoughts.

The storm is still raging, though the winds have temporarily weakened.
One worker is still missing.
The elf remains a mystery—is he just a lone traveler, or is he here for something (or someone) specific?
Mia is still watching the room, debating whether to keep an eye on the elf or let her paranoia go.
